A Family Reunion

The family Reunion theme was "Family".  We were lucky enough to find a full theme of "family" items at Michaels over the summer, so everything matched perfectly.

My sister Rachel and I hosted our Sergent Family Reunion this year, and I am posting the ideas we came up with and the fun stuff we did.  This is our Family cake.  It is a Replica of our Invites.

We had raffle drawings for prizes.  Our Family last name is Sergent so I made a Sergent sign for someone to win.

We had a prize table that consisted of lottery tickets, stationary, candy, candy jars, and some "guy gifts" like flash lights and hunting picture frames.

Another give away we did was we hid three old fashioned skeleton keys under three chairs, if you found a key, you won a family pillow.
Each place setting had a family tree for a keep sake or just to have your plate on.  Also we made little family printed bags with a couple pieces of specialty candy inside.  One of our games was the beaded necklace game.  No one could cross their legs or arms or you could steal there necklace and at the end of the reunion who ever had the most beads won a prize!  (the place mat is a
12x12 scrapbook paper from Michaels)
We had a raffle jar for five gift trunks filled with frames, stationary, candles,  and other trinkets.  We also recognized the youngest member of our family with a gift basket, then oldest member of our family with a gift, and the farthest traveled with a gift.
Our finished table setting.

Our dessert table had our cake, mixed cookie trays, and old fashioned candies like wax bottle juices, salt water taffy and DOTS!

There was a kids table that we covered in brown paper and had crayons and markers for the kids to color all over!

To top it off, we had our family recognized on the outside of the hotel!  It was such a fun day.  We had 62 family members who attended!
